Chips Tuile

Chips tuile. I seasoned mine with some chopped nori. Posted on september 29 2011 by feedthemwithlove. My husband just left to go play cards and i m a little giddy. Tuiles serve as the top of my apple tartlet mignardises adding crunch and flavor to the spiced cream tartlets.
I added squid ink for a little something different than the plain white crackers. I have just rocked out a batch of chocolate chip cookies that are thin but still chewy and so good i just received a heap of compliments. Using a small off set spatula place a small amount of the batter in the center of the hole of the stencil and spread it out evenly. Chocolate chip tuile cookies.
When i was googling for potato recipes to try i saw quite a few baked potato chips recipe somehow that reminded me of tuiles and off i went searching for potato tuile recipes. I had some leftover rice so i made these fried rice chip tuiles. They are delicious and great as snack. Just wait till you see.
Gianduja spread with cocoa nib chips. Dipping the cocoa nib tuiles into the gianduja spread gives a very pleasant crunch and at the same time a deliciously soft texture the hazelnut taste mixed with the intensity of the cocoa nib tuile release a nicely balanced roasted flavour. Not that there s anything wrong with. Cut a small hole about 3 1 2 inch diameter in a thin piece of cardboard or plastic to serve as a template in forming the tuiles.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat and place the stencil on it. We used ghirardelli semi sweet chocolate chips but you can use any chocolate chips you like. You can use them for garnish or eat them as they are they re delicious on their own. Cookies like chocolate chip and sugar cookies are more cakey due to a lower ratio of sugar and higher quantity of flour.
Stir the chocolate chips and if needed microwave again in 30 second intervals until smooth. These crackers are so easy to make. This recipe makes a lot of cookies but the sand dollar size treats disappear quickly so you might as well make a full batch. The ultra crisp ultra thin properties come from the higher ratio of sugar and fat with just enough flour to bind.
There are a few that used instant mashed potato something that i will never buy because i don t like the taste.
